1. Introduction of the social and pedagogical psychology 2. Psychology of learning and motivation 3. Social cognition 4. Social groups 5. Connection between social and pedagogical psychology and special education

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Written assignment presentation and defence
  • Preparation for credit - 25 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 35 hours per semester
  • Class attendance - 10 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 50 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
This course enables students to use methods and knowledge of social and pedagogical psychology, its importance and practical use. Students also gain information about the human psychology determination, about social learning and its types; students adopt elementary skills in social interaction. Students learn how to practically use terms like self-conception, social role, position, status, aspiration level, social perception, attitudes. Students understand the group dynamics, types of relationships and socio-metrics.

Prerequisites
Special education and consecutive knowledge gained through the educational background.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam, Student's performance analysis

To gain the credit students write a semestral thesis. Students follow the instructions of the lecturer, they follow the instruction of lenght, topic and content. The thesis must show the knowledge students master through their study hours. The thesis must be accepted by the lecturer, so the student can enter the exam. Examination conditions are set by the lecturer.
