Course content
Methods of drama education, role-playing activites outdoor drama and other forms of drama 1. Methods and techniques of drama education (verbal and nonverbal) 2. Role-playing. 3. Child theater. 4. Outdoor drama. 5. Student´s dramatic projects.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Active metods (simulation, situational contingency methods, drama,acting, namagerial acting )
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 28 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 64 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Students will gain practical skills from the field of drama education
After completion of the subject student will be able 1. to understand the meaning of Dramatic Games and Improvisation and its use in education 2. to reflect the topic critically 3. to demonstrate specific intellectual skills gained in a course in creating and performing dramatic game for pupils in the classroom 4. to be motivated for continuous learning in the field
Prerequisites
Student is acknowledged with basic framework of Drama education.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student's performance analysis

Study objectives: 1. active participation on the lecture 2. participants will perform all given tasks 3. reading of relevant academic texts 4. writing a semestral academic paper 5. successful accomplishment of institutional objectives of the course - attainment above the minimum requirements for the award of credit
