Course content
1. Environmental education in kindergartens and its incorporation into topic blocks in pre-school education. 2. How to create an educational natural garden. 3. Science projects at school and in kindergarten garden. 4. Science experiments and getting to know nature by all senses. 5. Learning by playing and experience in nature. 6. Games in nature.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)
  • Preparation for credit - 20 hours per semester
  • Class attendance - 20 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 20 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course introduces to students possibilities of practical use of ecology and science in everyday life in kindergarten.
After completion of the subject student will be able 1. to understand the content of prescribed curriculum of Ecological and scientific projects in kindergarten 2. to reflect the topic critically 3. to demonstrate specific intellectual skills gained in a course in writing of a semestral theses 4. to apply gained knowledge in educational process 5. to be motivated for continuous learning in the field
Prerequisites
Student has basic knowledge of pedagogy and didactics.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student's performance analysis, Written assignment

Active participation in seminars. Study of literature. Seminar essay ? science project.
