Course content
|
1. Shared interview in couples - writing questions connected with designing and managing of an educational project. Classification and structuring of questions - creating a mental map. 2. Shared analysis of examples (listening, video). Group analysis of examples (documentation, project's products, textbooks, literature). Presentation and discussion. 3. Generalisation of requirements for integrated thematic and project education (selection of a topic, goals setting, adjusting of an environment, relations, tools, rules, evaluation). Opportunities for efective combining of both methods. 4. Discussion - types of projects, generalizing of methods, pros and cons, opportunities for their sollution. 5. Guided planning of project education: Individually or in a small group students prepare a proposal for their own project. They will get acquainted with the five-step methodology of project creation. 6. Guided planning of project education: Students will design the measures necessary to ensure the successful preparation and implementation of the project. 7. Presentation of project proposals in the group, evaluation of proposals according to specified criteria, self-reflection of participants.

Learning outcomes
|
The course is aimed at finding the characteristics and definition of project education, assessment of options, benefits, drawbacks and pitfalls of its implementation.
After completion of the course student will be able: 1. to understand the content of prescribed curriculum of Project teaching 2. to reflect the topic critically 3. to demonstrate specific intellectual skills gained in a course in writing of a semestral paper 4. to apply gained knowledge in educational process

Prerequisites
|
Student has basic knowledge of pedagogy, didactics and history of education.

|
Presentation of group work, Oral presentation of self-study, Written assignment
Participation in seminars, seminar task.
