Course content
|
1. The use of creative narrative by teacher to promote pupils' personal development (narrative of healing stories in which the child's problem is encoded into the story of fairy-tale creatures). 2. The contexts of using healing stories: the child's problems associated with specific learning disorders, developmental disorders, mental and physical illnesses. 3. The contexts of using healing stories: the child's problems related to his social environment (family, class). 4. The contexts of using healing stories: promoting healthy social dynamics and class climate. 5. The contexts of using healing stories: promoting the development of personality and character virtues (kindness, tolerance, friendliness, justice). 6. Exploitation of expressive painting for relaxation of emotions in the artwork. Dynamic drawing of the group. 7. Creative dramatization - a dramatic representation of the healing story.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to explain to students how various techniques used in art, especially literary but also dramatic, visual and musical, can be used for reeducation in children with various special educational needs (specific learning disorders, behavioral disorders, social disadvantage, difficult life situation).
After completion of the course student will be able: 1. to understand the content of prescribed curriculum of Reeducation by art 2. to reflect the topic critically 3. to demonstrate specific intellectual skills gained in a course in writing of a semestral paper 4. to apply gained knowledge in educational process

Prerequisites
|
Student has basic knowledge of psychology.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Interview, Oral presentation of self-study, Written assignment
Active participation of students in seminars. Development of a critical analysis of the scholarly text. Creating a healing story for a particular child. Development of practical task - use of artwork in reeducation. Verification of knowledge in discussion during a personal meeting in small groups.
