Course content
1. Personal and social education - definition, goals, methods, possibilities, preparation. 2. Personal and social education - thematic blocks, possibilities for teaching at elementary and secondary schools. 3. Self-esteem and self-evaluation, the ability of reflection. 4. Creativity in pedagogical and social context. 5. Values, motivation, moral attitudes. 6. Developing communication, empathy, working with "otherness". 7. Psychohygiene, working with emotions.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Active metods (simulation, situational contingency methods, drama,acting, namagerial acting )

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide students with experience in the field of personal and social education and to acquaint them with the methods and possibilities of personal and social education. Self-empowerment in the field of self-reflection, social communication and moral development allows the teacher to more effectively manage his profession. In addition, a teacher with this experience is better able to lead, encourage and motivate their pupils in the field of personal self-development and the formation of harmonious interpersonal relationships, self-reflection, self-support and understanding.
After completion of the course student will be able: 1. to understand the content of prescribed curriculum of Seminar of personality development 2. to reflect the topic critically 3. to demonstrate specific intellectual skills gained in a course in writing of a semestral theses 4. to apply gained knowledge in educational process
Prerequisites
Student has basic knowledge of pedagogy and psychology.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral presentation of self-study

Active participation in lectures, creation and presentation of seminar paper.
