Course content
Thematic areas: 1. Educational - educational program of the institution as a framework of pedagogical work for extracurricular pedagogue - programs of school facilities, programs of non-profit organizations, programs of cultural institutions 2. Didactic aspects of program creation - specifics of the target group, program goals, its content, organization, methods, conditions (temporal, spatial, material), program evaluation 3. Programs based on constructivist and socioconstructivist conceptions of learning and education - the learning process from the point of view of socioconstructivism - J. Piaget, J. S. Bruner, L. Vygotsky. Phases of the educational process - evocation, awareness, reflection. Conditions for successful educational activity of a teacher, use of these concepts in non-formal education 4. Program Reading and writing for critical thinking - socio-constructivist basis of this program, examples of methods and lessons - methods of reading and writing educational and fiction texts, interview and discussion, thought and conceptual mapping, use in social science and environmental programs 5. Programs based on research-oriented teaching - socioconstructivism as a theoretical basis of this model of teaching, problem task or question, the essence of the research cycle and its phases, use in science and environmental programs 6. Programs based on cooperative learning - the importance and essence of cooperative activity, the principles of the model of cooperative learning, methods of cooperative group activity - work on the product, simulation games, role games, dramatic games, examples of use in various educational areas

Learning activities and teaching methods
Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Written assignment presentation and defence, Students' portfolio

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to equip students with basic pedagogical and psychodidactic knowledge and skills, which they will apply in the creation of short-term educational programs in the field of non-formal education and upbringing. The programs will be based on (socio-) constructivist theories and on the theory of cooperative learning and education.

Prerequisites
Students will independently develop an educational program in the field of non-formal education and upbringing for a selected age group. Explain and defend the theoretical basis of this program.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written assignment

Active participation in contact teaching. Design and presentation of an educational program in the field of non-formal education and upbringing for a selected age group.
