Course content
Contemporary offer of alternative textbooks. Curriculum for 4th and 5th grade. Kinds of curricula for homeland study, methods and forms of work. Historiographic, geographic and civic educational component of the subject. Survey of recommended aids.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 20 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 12 hours per semester

Assessment methods and criteria
Presentation of artistic and creative activities, Didactic test

Activity, writting test, interview. The course is held in Czech language, the requirements are stated in the Czech version.
