Course content
Thematic areas: 1. History of textile materials. Types of textile materials and techniques in history, art, and design. Tradition and the present day. 2. Examples of textile use in contemporary visual arts. Important Czech and international visual artists using textile materials and techniques. 3. Examples of good practice - inspiration for practice. Examples of artistic activities with textile materials suitable for activities with children and adults. 4. Art workshop - two-dimensional textile creation. 5. Art workshop - three-dimensional textile creation, time-space creation. 6. Art workshop - traditional textile techniques. 7. Presentation of seminar work, joint reflection, summary of the material covered.
