Course content
|
Topics: 1. Introduction to the topic. Morphological division of parts of speech. Boundaries between parts of speech. Morphological sound alternations. 2. Grammatical categories of nouns. Fluctuations in gender, vitality and number. 3. Case, characteristics of cases. Grammatical categories of other nouns. 4. Substantive and adjectival declension, mixed. Types of adjectives. Gradation of adjectives. 5. Pronouns, types, pronominal declension. 6. Numerals, types, declension, basic typographic rules. 7. Verbs, semantic and formal division. Speech categories of verbs. 8. Peculiarities in the category of person, number, tense. 9. Peculiarities in the category of mood, gender, and aspect. 10. Verb forms simple, compound, definite, and indefinite Verb stems. 11. Verb forms in connection with sentence types. Transitives, participles. Noun adjective verbal 12. Conjugation. Verb classes, irregular verbs. Morphological analysis. 13. Inflexible parts of speech. 14. Summary of the issue and final discussion on the topic.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral exam
Credit: active participation in seminars, continuous completion of assignments, seminar work, and a written credit test. Exam: demonstration of orientation in the given issue.
