Course content
Basics of human biology specialized on pre-school and primary school students. It study the system of anatomy and human physiology, individual children´s and young people development, age specifics in the development, hygiene of school work, scopes and resources of illness prevence and development defect, action atmosphere on the health and the basics of first aid.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Project teaching
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 14 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 18 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course Biology of child focuses on basics of human biology specialized on pre-school and primary school students. It study the system of anatomy and human physiology, individual children´s and young people development, age specifics in the development, hygiene of school work, scopes and resources of illness prevence and development defect, action atmosphere on the health and the basics of first aid.
Theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field.
Prerequisites
General orientation in the subject.

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined examination

Activity in the classes, writting test, exam. The course is held in Czech language, all requirements are stated in the Czech version.
