Course content
Thematic areas: 1. Principles and principles of didactics of creative activities. 2. Goals and tasks of creative activities. 3. Practical orientation games and walks as part of pre-school child development. 4. Preparation for creative activities - theme and its choice and educational goals, needs and aids, work safety. 5. Motivation for creative activities, reflection of creative activities, presentation of results. 6. Work with small material, natural and natural materials, techniques and procedures. 7. Work with textiles, textile art and handicraft techniques, folk art. 8. Work with small technical material, techniques and procedures. 9. Construction work, design activities, techniques and procedures. 10. Work with paper, techniques and procedures. 11. Preparedness of the child for partial tasks and for working with materials. 12. Evaluation in work activities. 13. Experiments, exploration, play, manipulation of materials. 14. Organization of work, individual and group work and its specifics, differentiation of assignment.

Individual creative and artistic activities, Group consultation, Lecture, Practicum
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 28 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 10 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 24 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The subject deals with the didactic principles of teaching work activities in kindergarten. They are viewed both from the content of teaching the subject and its organization. Practical activities provide students with specific work with materials, motivational, reflective components of teaching and their preparation. Emphasis is placed on the activity, experimental and aesthetic component of the teaching and its specifics in pre-school education. The topics of the exercises are related to lecture topics.

General orientation in the subject.

Assessment methods and criteria
Presentation of artistic and creative activities, Oral presentation of self-study

Participation in seminars, presentations, seminar work. The course is held in Czech language, all requirements are stated in the Czech version.
