Course content
Thematic areas - lectures: 1. Language and Speech - Comprehensive and Subjective Learning Objectives, Educational Offer, Expected Outputs. 2. Developing the relationship to reading and reading. 3. Reading activities, reading and reading of books. 4. Development of language and expressing skills. 5. Development of expressing skills on the basis of a literary masterpiece. 6. Development of language and expressing skills based on sharing. 7. Development of expressive skills through dramatic scenes. 8. Development of linguistic feeling and adequate speech responses. 9. Developing understanding of the hearing. 10. Reproducing text using a picture curve. 11. Principles of individual and group conversation, discussion, interview. 12. Language games. 13. Literary games. 14. Use of audiovisual techniques in literary and linguistic education

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Written assignment presentation and defence
  • Presentation preparation (report) - 8 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 6 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 18 hours per semester
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The subject is an introduction to the teaching of literature for children and its didactics. The content is mainly development of language, speech and activities with literary text, in the form of fun exercises and games. The content of the seminar corresponds to the requirements for developing pre-reading literacy.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student's performance analysis, Practical demonstration of acquired skills, Oral presentation of self-study

Active participation in seminars, presentations, seminar work. The course is held in Czech language, the requirements are stated in the Czech version. DISTANCE form of education: seminar tasks according to the teacher's instructions
