Course content
Thematic areas: 1. Graphomotor skills in kindergarten. 2. Fundamentals of children's drawing. 3. Handling Graphic Tools. 4. Hygiene habits. 5. Releasing exercises. 6. Conditions for the successful development of graphomotor skills. 7. Current trends in the development of reading literacy. 8. Children's literature and its use. 9. Methods for Development of Reading Literacy I 10. Methods for Development of Reading Literacy II 11. Use of games to develop reading literacy. 12. Examples of projects for the development of reading literacy. 13. Specifics of projects focused on graphomotor development 14. Examples of Good Practice.

Learning outcomes
The course introduces students to the concept of reading literacy and leads them to acquire the theoretical knowledge associated with rudimentary reading literacy. In connection with its development, students are introduced to the development of graphomotor skills in its historical context and on the basis of their own observation of reality in today's kindergartens. Emphasis is also placed on the formation of hygiene habits in children, especially in pre-school children in order to allow them a smooth transition into the role of the pupil who learns the basics of writing.

Written exam, Presentation of artistic and creative activities, Systematické pozorování studenta

Participation in seminars, presentation, written exam. The course is held in Czech language, the requirements are stated in the Czech version.
