Course content
he aim of the course is to provide students with their own experience in practice. Students must conduct observation and own supervised professional activity (instruction) according to the mentor teacher in selected kindergartens. Assistant training, participation, observation, orientation in pre-school education and its organization. Pedagogical portfolio.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Observation, Group consultation, Individual consultation
  • Preparation for credit - 30 hours per semester
  • Class attendance - 56 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 34 hours per semester
Learning outcomes

After completion of the subject student will be able 1. to understand the content of basic phenomena in everyday life in kindergartens 2. to reflect basic phenomena of everyday life in kindergartens critically 3. to apply gained knowledge in educational process 4. to be motivated for continuous learning in the field
Prerequisites
General knowledge of basic concepts in pedagogy.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student's performance analysis, Presentation of acquired experience via portfolio

Attendance to selected kindergartens, class prezentation, teacher assessment, pedagogical portfolio.
