Course content
Thematic areas: 1. Terminology of the branch. The expressive means of graphics. Print from a height, from a surface, from a depth and through a screen. 2-3. Alternative and pregraphic procedures. 4-5. Basic graphics techniques. 6-9. Techniques suitable for school practice (paper matrix, embossed print, foam printing, compositional games with elements...) 10-11.Basic equipment of graphic workshop, methodological problems of practice. Multi-color printing. 12-13. Material games, non-traditional approaches. 14. Combined techniques

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Individual creative and artistic activities, Demonstration of student skills, Students' portfolio

Learning outcomes
Learning outcomes of the course unit The subject acquaints with the basics of graphical expression with an emphasis on possibilities of using graphic approaches in art activities in kindergarten. Students learn graphic thinking, transfer their own drawing to the appropriate technique, work in black and white, try multicolored printing. The course is in the form of a workshop, where the students acquire the basic graphic and pregraphic techniques, material games that can be used in the kindergarten.

Student's performance analysis, Practical demonstration of acquired skills, Presentation of artistic and creative activities, Test

Participation in seminars, presentation of a set of own graphic worksheets, seminar work. Written test. The course is held in Czech language, the requirements are stated in the Czech version.
