Course content
Thematic areass - lectures:   1.-2. Characteristic of fairy tales, theory of the origin and sorting of fairy tales.   3-4. Folk tale and its adaptation.   5-6. Development of the Czech author's fairy tale.   7-8. New procedures in the Czech author's fairy tale.   11-12. Prose with child hero in individual historical stages.   13-14. The collective as a hero of storytelling. Exercises: Exercises are based on lectures, especially presentations about author, book, texts and interpretations analyzes.

Learning outcomes
The subject Children's Literature 2 follows the development of fairy tales and stories with children's hero of Czech production from the beginning of the 20th century to the present. Attention is focused on the characteristics of individual periods, author's personalities, the analysis of their most important works, the overlapping of the work with the introduction of original themes, procedures or innovations, which enriched the book production for children and youth. In the seminars, students are continuously familiar with the latest works of our writers, pointing out the characteristics of their poetics.

Written exam, Student's performance analysis, Presentation of acquired knowledge via paper

Attendance at seminars, presentation, seminar paper, written exam. The course is held in Czech language, the requirements are stated in the Czech version.
