Course content
Thematic areas: 1. Principals,objectives and trules at class. 2. Preparation and planning. Hygiene and safety. 3. Thema, material, technique, proceeding, aims. 4. Motivation, realization, reflexion, prezentation, archivation. 5. Organization,. 6. Basics of aesthetics dining and cultivation. 7. Manipulation, playing activities, experiments. 8. Construction activities. 9. Paper as a creative material. 10. Textile materials and techniques. 11. Crafts and tradition. 12.Excursions. 13. Methodical problems from educational reality. Examples of art projects. 14. Seminar project presentation.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Project teaching, Demonstration of student skills, Lecture, Practicum, Students' portfolio
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 30 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 32 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course presents didactics themas od practical and creative activities of primary school. It is focused on didactics principles of education, materials, instruments, security, manipulation and organization. Students study elementary steps of planning activities putting emphasis on motivation, process and reflection. Themas are practicaly apply with specific examples.
Theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field.
Prerequisites
General orientation in the subject.

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined examination, Practical demonstration of acquired skills, Presentation of acquired experience via portfolio

Participation at the classes, presentation, semestral project, written exam. The course is held in Czech language, the requirements are stated in the Czech version.
