Fundamentals of geology and geomorphology - the origin and development of landscape types in the Czech Republic. 3. Rocks and minerals - basic terms; the occurrence of rocks in the landscape; examples of rocks and minerals (linking with positional and compositional transformation, working with observation of dimensions and shapes). 4. Physical Geographical Excursion - Theme of Geological Interests in the Landscape "(time-space orientation, perception of sequence of events). 5. Physical Geographical Excursion - Theme of Geological Interests in the Landscape "(time-space orientation, perception of sequence of events). 6. Basics of hydrology - water as a global problem of humanity; water supplies on Earth and in the Czech Republic (basic mathematical concepts). 7. Hydrology basics - hydrological cycle; rivers, lakes, glaciers. 8. Natural Threats and Risks - Human Protection of Emergencies caused by Inanimate Nature: Floods, Dangerous Meteorological Events, etc. (working with information and its use in solving problematic situations). 9. Fundamentals of climatology and meteorology - weather and climate; measurement of meteorological elements; weather forecast; climate models; weather dynamics (connection with time transformation). 10. Physical-Geographic Excursion - Theme Meteorological Elements and Weather Forecast ": visit to the meteorological station Liberec (development of the ability to perceive the relationship of reality and symbols). 11. Renewable and non-renewable energy sources - extraction and processing of raw materials; new trends in energy. 12. Conservation of nature and landscape - environmental problems and protection possibilities; the concept of sustainable development. 13. Presentation of semestral papers. 14. Presentation of semestral papers.
