Course content
|
Thematic circuits - lectures: 1. General introduction to art education, terminology. 2-3. Drawing techniques and materials, means of expression, composition, perspective. 4-7. Graphic techniques and materials (printing from a height, from a depth, from a surface through a screen of pregraphic techniques), means of expression. Thematic circuits - exercises: 1. Terminology of the field and expressive means of drawing in practice. 2. Forms of surface space solutions 3. Drawing of cubic objects, construction. Perspective imaging. 4. Drawing of rotating objects, modeling by light and shadow. 5. Study drawing, natural elements. 6. Sketching, stylized shapes. 7. Drawing and winding 8-11. Drawing by model Still life, curtain, portrait, figure. 12. Non-traditional drawing tools 13. Negative drawing 14. Presentation of seminar works dedicated to drawers and illustrators

Learning outcomes
|
The theoretical basis is devoted to general art expression with an emphasis on drawing and its overlap for graphic art. Exercise develops drawing skills. Students learn to work with graphic artistic means of expression, composition, acquaint with basic drawing techniques and materials. They practice light and shadow modeling, basics of perspective imaging, study drawing and sketching, stylization of the motif and abstract concept of line and surface. There is also a game with a line with non-traditional tools.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student's performance analysis, Practical demonstration of acquired skills, Presentation of artistic and creative activities, Presentation of acquired experience via portfolio
Participation in the classes, presentation of portfolio, semestral work. The course is held in Czech language, the requirements are stated in the Czech version.
