Course content
Thematic areas: 1. Theory and Expressions of Colors, Complementary Colors, Mixing 2. Composition exercise with color 3. Transparent colors and their use possibilities 4. Semi-transparent colors 5. Cover colors - tempera painting, volume modeling 6. Application of Expressions in Painting 7. Using modern art as a starting point for creation 8. Usage of the painter's background, painting on the dry pastel painting 9 - 10. Combined painting techniques 11 . Dekalk the combination of paintings with a drawing 12. Painting on embossed background 13 - 14. Individual art making.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Individual creative and artistic activities, Seminár
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 20 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 12 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The subject acquaints with painting means of expression, color theory, basic painting techniques. Attention is paid to composition and play with elements. Students will try both classical painting and painting and playful forms in the area of decks, combining techniques and working with the template.
Theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field.
