Course content
Thematic areas: 1. Introduction to the issues of continuous pedagogical practice and requirements for the student 2. RVP PV 3. Introduction to pedagogical practice in kindergarten. 4. Regular participation of the student at school - gradual introduction to the nature of the work (10 visits to the kindergarten). 5. Observing the course of the educational process in terms of teacher and child activity and their interaction. 6. Reflection on practice.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Observation, Group consultation, Individual consultation
  • Home preparation for classes - 16 hours per semester
  • Class attendance - 84 hours per semester
  • Presentation preparation (report) - 20 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to achieve an orientation into pre-school education, which is gained by engaging as an assistant and fulfills the function of becoming familiarized at a practical level with organizing the educational process. Students are divided into collaborating kindergartens. A pedagogical diary is continuously maintained.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student's performance analysis, Presentation of acquired experience via portfolio

Participation in teaching practice. Summary. Presentation of the Pedagogical portfolio. The course is held in Czech language, the requirements are stated in the Czech version.
