Course content
The areas: 1. Drama education and its relation to the theatre. 2. Principals of drama education. 3. The aims in aesthetic-educational field and in the field of personal and social education. 4. Different forms and levels of role-playing in fictional dramatic situations. 5. Use of games in drama education. 6. Methods and techniques of drama and theatre education (nonverbal, verbal, using elements of other arts). 7. Structured drama. 8. Use of music, development of movement 9. Reflection as an integral part of drama education 10. Methods and techniques of managing learning processes through methods of drama / theatre education (with an emphasis on facilitating reflection).

Learning activities and teaching methods
Individual creative and artistic activities, Demonstration of student skills
  • Preparation for credit - 30 hours per semester
  • Presentation preparation (report) - 30 hours per semester
  • Class attendance - 30 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course is designed as both theoretical and practical. Its aim is to introduce students to the issue of drama, or more precisely drama education by - gaining knowledge about the field - acquiring basic practical skills for the use of methods and techniques of drama education in leisure activities - reflecting on a personal experience of a dramatic play evoking a basic personal experience with this type of activity The complex of these goals requires a combination of all the above forms (showing the phenomena indicated by the terms of the field in the induced practical situations; a specific personal experience from the effect of the general principle, etc.).
