Course content
Thematic areas: 1. The importance of music and its function in human life 2. Psychological bases of music education and music activities in non-formal education 3. Development of musical abilities of a child, adolescent 4. Rhythmic games, work with rhythm 5. Rhythmic games, work with rhythm, Orff's instrumentation 6. Singing activities in non-formal education 7. Singing activities in non-formal education 8. Working with songs 9. Working with songs 10. Working with songs 11. Instrumental activities - Orff's instrumentation, sound painting 12. Music education systems - Orff, Kodály, Kabalevskij, Waldorf pedagogy and Montessori pedagogy 13. Elementary musical creativity - synthesis of the discussed areas in a creative conception 14. Elementary musical creativity - synthesis of the discussed areas in a creative conception

Learning outcomes
The course introduces the basic principles of musical activities. It provides a basic theoretical and practical framework for artistic methods and activities of musical activities in education and non-formal education.
