Course content
Modern fairy tale. Children's collective as the hero of story prose. Direction of modern fairy tale to artificial mythology. Stories inspired by adult literature. Contemporary prose for children Seminars focus on the most outstanding works of world literature for youth from their beginnings to the present. The books are grouped into thematic areas and the authors' papers are supplemented by an analysis of the samples of their work. Great attention is paid to the work with texts and novelties of translation literature.

Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Active metods (simulation, situational contingency methods, drama,acting, namagerial acting ), Lecture
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 12 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 20 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The seminars are centered on most conciderable pieces of world literatury for youth from their begining to present. Books are separated into thematical circles and reportes about authores are completed by analysis dispays of their writings. Attention is paid to working with texts and to news from translate literature.

Reading at least 15 books, creating a presentation on a given topic.
