Course content

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Observation, Group consultation, Individual consultation
  • Semestral paper - 30 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 60 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 30 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course contributes to the development of all the professional competencies of the kindergarten teacher. It provides an orientation into the entire running of the nursery school, participation in its everyday activities, and the ability to apply self-reflection of one's own pedagogical activities at a higher level. The student has the opportunity to get to know children better in terms of their development. Students receives feedback through the practice, and coupled with methodology, are afforded the opportunity to assess their current readiness for the role of kindergarten teacher, while assessing the state of the existing pedagogical-psychological and methodical readiness obtained by studying and completing the previous types of practical activities. Students prepare their own class activities and consult them with their teacher trainer reflecting on their practical outputs. Students maintain and complement their portfolio learning how to reflect on both their preparation and management of the educational process.

Student's performance analysis, Presentation of acquired experience via portfolio

Participation in teaching practice. Summary. Presentation of the Pedagogical portfolio. The course is held in Czech language, the requirements are stated in the Czech version.
