Course content
Visual art history of 20th century. Contemporary art production. Actual art expositions.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)
  • Preparation for credit - 20 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 40 hours per semester
  • Class attendance - 42 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 18 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Lectures with slides give basic information about art history of 20th century and are conductive to understand actual today´s creative production.Students study creative artist´s ateliers, visit today´s creative art expositions. They should be able to categorize concreet artefacts to develope trends and arrange feelings of these pieces to pupils of primary school.
Theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field.

General orientation in the subject.

Assessment methods and criteria
Combined examination, Presentation of artistic and creative activities, Presentation of acquired experience via portfolio

The course is held in Czech language, the requirements are stated in the Czech version.
