Course content
|
Typology and history of visual arts. Familiarization with essential definitions and terminology. The fundamentals of artefact´s analysis and general sociohistorical context. The visual arts development from prehistoric ages to the present - courses with slides.

Learning outcomes
|
The subject acquaints with the basic tendencies of contemporary world and Czech art in the form of lectures with projection. Emphasis is placed on the analysis of the artwork and its incorporation into the context of time period.
