Course content
Thematic areas: 1. Human voice and voice hygiene 2. Components of Voice education 3. Singing technique 4. Intonation and the performance of songs 5. Singing up and folk song at pre-school age 6.Training of one-voice folk song 7. Training of one-voice artificial song 8. Rhythm and Rhythmic Feeling Development, Orff's instrumental 9. What is melody, scale 10. Musical activity for pre-school education 11. Formal pronunciation and sound expression 12. Content and emotional component of music 13. Song literature 14. Presentation of song literature

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Motoric and practical working skills training, Individual creative and artistic activities
  • Class attendance - 14 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 20 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 16 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 10 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course presents the methodology and didactics of singing with focus to singing hygiene and problematic of voice defects.
Theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field.
Prerequisites
General orientation in the subject.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student's performance analysis, Practical demonstration of acquired skills, Interview

Participation in the classes, oral interview. The course is held in Czech language, the requirements are stated in the Czech version.
