Course content
Thematic areas: 1. Basic demonstrations of music and movement 2. Basic motoric skills , body holding 3. Harmonisation of motion 4. Using space and stylisation of motion 5. Linking musical components with motion - listening to music and motion 6. Practising basic dance steps 7. Practising folk -, standard -,country -, indian dances 8. Practising folk -, standard -,country -, indian dances 9. Music - motional improvisation 10. Expression dance 11. Elements of classic balet 12. Folk games with songs and moving 13. Folk games with songs and moving 14. Music - motion activities for developing rough and fine motoring

Motoric and practical working skills training, Individual creative and artistic activities, Demonstration of student skills, Practicum
  • Class attendance - 14 hours per semester

Learning outcomes
The subject acquaints students with the basic principles of dance and movement education. It provides a basic theoretical and practical framework for dance and movement activities in primary schools.

General orientation in the subject.

Assessment methods and criteria
Practical demonstration of acquired skills, Presentation of artistic and creative activities, Presentation of group work

Active participation in block lesson, presentations. The course is held in Czech language, the requirements are stated in the Czech version. During the ordered distance teaching, contact participation in lectures and seminars will be replaced by the fulfillment of partial tasks and communication with students in an e-learning course or online teaching.
