Course content
In the seminars of Art expression 3, the students gradually acquaint themselves with the basic technical procedures of spatial creation (design, shaping, sculpting and plastic process, laminating) and try practically these processes in the works with a variety of volumetric, linear and flat material. Emphasis is placed on individual creative development

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Demonstration, Motoric and practical working skills training
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 12 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 20 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
At plastic art seminars students are introduced to basic technical process of modelling (modelling with clay, usage of structural materials, negative and positive relief). The emphasis is on individual creative development.
Theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field.
Prerequisites
General orientation in the subject.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam, Presentation of acquired experience via portfolio
