Course content
Thematic areas: 1. Man is a social being 2. My relatives - family archive 3. Everyday and festive days 4. Why do we need friends? 5. We are the inhabitants of the town 6. What the people around us can do 7. State administration and local government 8. The work of the city and state police 9. Coexistence of people, groups and associations, assistance to the sick and socially weaker 10. Law and Justice 11. Travel, interconnected world 12. Money and its value, tangible and intangible assets 13. Traffic education 14. Summary of the lessons , RVP, outputs for 5th grade

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Practicum, Students' portfolio

  • Home preparation for classes - 10 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to introduceh the learning content of the subject according to the national curricular documents , so that the pupils at elementary school gain basic knowledge of the subject discussed at the second level of elementary school in geography, history and civic education.
Theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field.
Prerequisites
General orientation in the subject.

Assessment methods and criteria
Presentation of group work, Oral presentation of self-study

Participation in seminars, presentation, seminar work. The course is held in Czech language, the requirements are stated in the Czech version.
