Course content
The studies of Spanish for Education Purposes are composed of linguistic, literary and methodological parts. Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing)
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 32 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 30 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course gives theoretical insight into the structure of a word, vocabulary and principles of vocabulary enrichment. Semantics focuses on general semantic notions, relations, sign, relation between semantics and syntax. Students will learn about lexicography, types of dictionaries, the history of Spanish lexicography and the most significant dictionaries of Spanish.

Prerequisites
The condition is adequate knowledge of the language.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam

Credit: Active participation in classes and fulfillment of all assignments. Credit test.
