Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming)
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 22 hours per semester

Learning outcomes
The course is dedicated to analysis of major literary works in context of historical events in the Spanish speaking countries. The students will learn to think about the literary canon, its evolution in time and about the relationship between literature and history. Special attention will be paid to theoretical text and application of the theories to literary works.
Analysis of literary and theoretical texts.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of literature and history of the Spanish speaking countries.
