Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming)
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 22 hours per semester
  • Home preparation for classes - 10 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course is dedicated to different types of novel in Spanish and Spanish American literatures. The novel, being the most complex literary genre with an interesting evolution throughout the time, has a special place in the literatures of Spanish speaking countries. Special attention is paid to theories of novel and its evolution which will be employed during analysis of texts.
Text analysis, literary theory.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of literatures written in Spanish.
