Learning activities and teaching methods
Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments)
  • Class attendance - 28 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 62 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course focuses on fundamental syntactic notions and relations, on the questions of structure of a sentence, and complex sentence. The attention is paid to basic parts of a sentence and their types - subject, predicate and others. Individual language phenomena are studied and demonstrated in authentic texts.
Theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field.
Prerequisites
The condition is adequate knowledge of the language.

Assessment methods and criteria
Didactic test

Credit: Active participation in classes and fulfillment of all assignments. Credit test.
