The 21st century brings with it a number of global problems that are historically unprecedented and that present an existential challenge for a planetary human society. The aim of the course Philosophical aspects of global problems is an explicit formulation of these problems and their philosophical analysis (analysis of a broader historical perspective and structural contexts of the problem). Students will learn to set an agenda of intellectually appealing issues that address the relevant global issues of humanity.
