Course content
1. Terminology 2. Education process and active options of sound and music usage 3. Education process and possible ways of receptive sound and music using 4. Musical and reeducation techniques and means for children with special education needs

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Written assignment presentation and defence, Active metods (simulation, situational contingency methods, drama,acting, namagerial acting )
  • Class attendance - 18 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 32 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 40 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Students will be orientated in possible ways of using the musical and reeducation techniques as well as the music therapy activities as a part of mental hygiene and social pathology prevention. Students learn how to use reeducation techniques in a specific way in the process of educating pupils with special education needs.

Special education and consecutive knowledge gained through the educational background.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam, Student's performance analysis

To gain the credit students must join the seminar and write a semestral thesis. Other demands are specified by the lecturer
