Course content
1. Specific learning disorders issues among children before they begin obligatory education in primary schools 2. Stimulating programs for pre-school children in connection with the SPU development 3. Diagnostic methods and stimulating programs for pre-school children

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Written assignment presentation and defence, Active metods (simulation, situational contingency methods, drama,acting, namagerial acting )
  • Class attendance - 8 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 32 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 50 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
In this course students learn about the preventing options for special learning disorders or difficulties in pre-school age. Students distinguish the risks of developing such disorders and are able to provide proper treatment to prevent them.

Special education and consecutive knowledge gained through the educational background.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student's performance analysis

To gain the credit students must join the seminar and write a semestral thesis. Other demands are specified by the lecture.
