Course content
1. Art education 2. Methods and techniques of art education 3. Methodic structure of art education lesson

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Written assignment presentation and defence, Individual creative and artistic activities
  • Class attendance - 10 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 20 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 30 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Students learn in this course how to design methodic of art education with particular focus on pupils with special education needs. Art education helps externalize difficult life situations in art environment and in context and strength of art therapy as well as in context of individual emotional pattern. The goal of this course is to help students adopt methods of work in art education to optimize their development.

Prerequisites
Special education and consecutive knowledge gained through the educational background.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam, Student's performance analysis

To gain the credit students must join the seminar and write a semestral thesis. Other demands are specified by the lecturer
