Subject is a part of practical preparation, which corresponds to the content of selected theoretical disciplines and has a methodically propaedeutic function. It introduces students into the practical context of topics related to social work and introduces them to selected examples of practical social work terrain and methodological possibilities of its studying. Each field trip includes previous preparation and subsequent analysis and controlled group reflection. Student keeps the logbook as the basis for processing the final portfolio of practical preparation. During social work field trips, student visits institutions with social workers, psychologists, healthcare workers as well as physical therapists whose activities are aimed at different target groups. It takes place in institutions providing residential social services.
