Course content
1. Etopedia (subject, goal, development, position in the system of special education and its sciences, basic terminology) 2. System of special education institutions 3. Behavioural disorders 4. Individual categories of behavioural disorders 5. Etopedical issues of negative social groups 6. System of social prevention and crime prevention

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Written assignment presentation and defence
  • Class attendance - 10 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 15 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 20 hours per semester
  • Preparation for exam - 45 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Students will learn about the basic etopedia terminology, about the behavioural disorders and will understand the system and functions of the special etopedia institutions in the CR. They will be able to use this knowledge in social work with its particular target groups.

Social issues and consecutive knowledge gained through the educational background.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student's performance analysis

To gain the credit students write a semestral thesis. Students follow the instructions of the lecturer, they follow the instruction of lenght, topic and content. The thesis must show the knowledge students master through their study hours. The thesis must be accepted by the lecturer, so the student can enter the exam. Examination conditions are set by the lecturer.
