Course content
1. Legal acts defining the human rights 2. Preventive approach 3. Repressive approach 4. Sanction policy in the CR and EU. Efficiency of the sanction policy 5. Social and legal protection of children; abused and neglect individuals, seniors, women and others

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Written assignment presentation and defence
  • Class attendance - 12 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 18 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 30 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
In this course students will gain the knowledge of the social and legal protection in its broad and narrow sense. After this course the student will have the knowledge of various types and approaches toward social protection and will be able to help potential clients in the area of social protection or provide social protection themselves.

Student's performance analysis

To gain the credit students must join the seminar and write a semestral thesis. Other demands are specified by the lecturer.
