Course content
1. Basic terminology 2. Character, object and typology of supervision 3. Aims, methods and types of supervision 4. Supervision in the context of social work 5. Supervision of practical training of the first semester 6. A joining of practical and theoretic-methodical part of teaching 7. Ethical principles and principles of supervision 8. Evaluation of supervision contract and emotional abreaction

Learning activities and teaching methods
Dialogue metods(conversation,discussion,brainstorming), Self-study (text study, reading, problematic tasks, practical tasks, experiments, research, written assignments), Group consultation
  • Class attendance - 10 hours per semester
  • Semestral paper - 20 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 30 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Students reflex their professional experience gained during the professional practice in different types of social institutions. Students learn that supervision is a way of correcting their professional and vocational behavior and it is a mean of their personal and professional growth.

The bachelor level of knowledge of the social work topics and its supporting disciplines.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student's performance analysis

To gain the credit students must join the seminar and write a semestral thesis. Other demands are specified by the lecturer.
