Course content
Teaching is based on two threeday actions. The focus of the course is focused on staying in nature in the autumn and winter landscape. The nature of the weekends is in the Jizera Mountains, using various transport options (walking, running, cycling, canoeing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, skiing of various types). All detailed information (equipment, location, etc.) will be given to students at the mandatory information meeting that precedes each weekend. Maximum attention is paid to prevention, subjective and objective dangers, the basics of meteorology, appropriate equipment, orientation, first aid. Added element is the theory of the implementation and organization of the course in mountain and environment. 1) autumn weekend Focus on: active nature of the movement in the countryside, rules of nature, equipment and equipment in nature, basics of orientation, touring planning, map and buzzing, GPS navigation, basics of meteorology, mobile applications and their use in field work (first aid, , navigation, trackers, weather) Wildlife sleep, emergency shelters, cooking basic camper skills, emergency wound transport, night march. 2) winter weekend Focus on: Active forms of movement in winter landscape, rules of movement in winter landscape, use of knowledge from the autumn weekend, equipment and equipment for winter nature, winter bivouacing, cooking possibilities, basic avalanche prevention, work with avalanche search engine, probing, wound recovery.

Learning outcomes

Learning outcomes of the course unit Students will acquire the relevant information and competencies in the following areas: - Safe movement in nature and its appropriate choice. - Camping skills necessary for long-term stay in nature. - Getting route planning with respect to the group. - Evaluating subjective and objective hazards. - Field orientation. - Reading maps. - Choosing the right equipment.
Prerequisites
Interest in the issue. Physical and psychological resistance corresponding to the profile and focus of the student. Ability to move around in the countryside (walking, running, cycling, canoeing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing). Using camper skills (sleeping, cooking, building a shelter). Related to KTV / TRVP.

Assessment methods and criteria

Basic requirements: Complete the course in full. Interest in the issue of living in the countryside. Physical and psychological resistance corresponding to the profile and focus of the student. Related requirements: Walk for 4 hours with 15 kg load at an average speed of 4 km / h. Run at 10 km at an average speed of 6 min / km. Cycling for 4 hours at an average speed of 15 km / h. Canoeing with the ability to steer. Snowshoeing for 3 hours at an average speed of 3 km / h. Cross-country skiing for 3 hours at an average speed of 8 km / h. Walking on skialpinist skis for 4 hours with an average speed of 4 km / hour. Rope activities (climbing etc.). Orienteering activities (run, navigation in terrain). Bivouacing in the wild. Hardening (immersion in the river).
