Course content
The first action: Focus on: active forms of transport in the countryside, rules of movement in the countryside, the equipment to the countryside, the rudiments of orientation, planning of a hike, working with a map and a compass, GPS navigation, the rudiments of meteorology, mobile-phone applications and their use in the fieldwork (first aid, Mountain rescue, navigation, trackers, weather) sleepover in the countryside (the selection of an appropriate place, appropriate techniques to keep oneself warm), climbing, rappel, cycling and canoeing, scooter riding, emergency shelters, minimalization of the impact on the environment - introduction to the principles LNT (Leave No Trace). The second weekend: Focus on: travelling character of the event, active forms of transport in the countryside, the rules of transport in the countryside, application of knowledge from the first weekend, equipment to the countryside, bivouac shelter, gaining of drinkable water, rescue of a wounded person, emergency transport of a wounded person, cooking and basic camping skills, night march.

Learning outcomes
Teaching is realized in the form of two weekend stays (both from Friday to Sunday). The course is oriented on outdoor stays during autumn. This is a travelling course in the mountains with multiple possibilities of ways of transport (walking, running, cycling, boating, hybrid movement etc.).
Students received special competences as per curriculum of accredited specialisation.

Assessment methods and criteria
Practical demonstration of acquired skills

Completion requirements: completion of the course in its entirety. Interest in the issue of staying in nature. Sufficient physical and mental endurance to complete the course program. Related requirements: Walking for 4 hours with 15 kg load at an average pace of 4 km/h. Run for 10 km with an average speed of 6 min/km. Cycling for 4 hours with an average speed of 15 km/h. Canoeing with the ability to steer in the form of 8 hours of rope activities (climbing, abseiling, rope obstacles). Orientation activities (running, navigation in terrain). Bivouac in the wild.
