Course content
The course is focused on the acquisition of practical skills and theoretical knowledge necessary for the realization of the program in the winter environment. The course takes place in a mountainous area. Practical skills include: Cross-country skiing (classic technique, skating technique). Downhill skiing. Basics of skitouring. Snowshoeing. Snow games. Making Multimedia Output. Theoretical knowledge is: Lubrication and ski service. Avalanche issues. Snow games. Field orientation. Route planning. Security aspect (subjective, objective). Choice of equipment and equipment.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Demonstration, Motoric and practical working skills training

Learning outcomes
The course focuses on activities in the winter landscape. Part of the course is theoretical lectures, but emphasis is put on practical skills in cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, skitouring and snowshoeing. The course also takes into account the problems of snow games.
The student acquires professional competencies in the sense of the curriculum of the accredited discipline. Learning outcomes of the course unit Students will acquire the relevant information and competencies in the following areas: - Safe movement in winter nature by nature. - Getting route planning with respect to the group. - Evaluating subjective and objective hazards. - Field orientation. - Choosing the right equipment.
Prerequisites
The prerequisite is the interest in the subject, the active approach and basic movement skills corresponding to the characteristics of the student. Ability to move around in the countryside (walking, running, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing). The student skis down the red difficulty slope in a controlled, smooth and safe manner.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student's performance analysis

Basic requirements: Active completion of the whole course and all its parts (cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, etc.). Interest in the issue of living in the countryside. Physical and psychological resistance corresponding to the profile and focus of the student. Making Multimedia Output. Final exam. Related requirements: Snowshoeing for 3 hours at an average speed of 3 km / h. Cross-country skiing for 3 hours at an average speed of 8 km / h. Walking on skialpinist skis for 4 hours with an average speed of 4 km / hour. Managing set down skiing requirements.
