Course content
Basic techniques and methodology of cross-country and downhill skiing

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monological explanation (lecture, presentation,briefing), Demonstration, Motoric and practical working skills training
  • Class attendance - 40 hours per semester
  • Preparation for credit - 20 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The course is focused on acquiring both theoretical and practical knowledge of cross-country and downhill skiing (basic techniques and methodology for primary school).
Student will be able to demonstrate the elementary ski turns or the cross county technique.
Prerequisites
Elementary movement skills - adequate to the students age class.
