Learning outcomes
|
The course is focused on acquiring both theoretical and practical knowledge of downhill skiing techniques. The knowledge is necessary for realization and organization of winter courses in teaching practice.
he student will be able to demonstrate the exam requirements of the skiing instructor (plow arc, carving arc, parallel arc and methodical training procedures).

Prerequisites
|
Mastering elementary skiing skills on cross county skies and mastering the plow turn.
|

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student's performance analysis, Didactic test
Attendance at theoretical and practical classes. Demonstration of the arc in the plow, parallel arc and carving arc using the technique presented in the lesson. Fulfillment of the methodological output. Meeting the requirements of the theory test.
