Course content
Exercises: 1. Bouldering - credit requirements, basic aspects of healthy and efficient movement, rebounds, basic climbing positions and transfers from them. 2. Bouldering - no hands, climbing in a horizontal and vertical profile, types of grips, types of grips. 3. Bouldering - climbing in an overhanging profile, dynamic movement and jumps. 4. Bouldering - inventing boulders, climbing and correcting mistakes. 5. Bouldering - specific and non-specific means and their use in practice, bouldering games. 6. Climbing - cooperation between climber and belayer - communication, basics of belaying, linking, swinging. 7. Climbing - swinging, jumps into the rope (TR), securing (TR). 8. Climbing - speed climbing. 9. Climbing - descending routes, handling express trains. 10. Climbing - climbing paths. 11. Bouldering - skills training. 12. Credits plus wall training. 13. Credits plus bouldering training. 14. Credit hour.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Motoric and practical working skills training, Practicum
  • Preparation for credit - 14 hours per semester

  • Home preparation for classes - 14 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the basics of climbing on an artificial climbing wall. After completing the course, students should have enough theoretical knowledge and practical skills to move safely in climbing centers.

Prerequisites
Basic movement skills corresponding to the student's age characteristics.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student's performance analysis, Practical demonstration of acquired skills

Active attendance 75%, practical mastery of basic bouldering skills, climbing difficulty 5c (TR), credit test.
